Who’s going to State in wrestling? | Collierville Independent

The top 4 of the 14 weight classes of Region 8-3A will participate in next week’s TSSAA State Wrestling Individual Tournament in Franklin.

The Region 8-3A Wrestling Individual Tournament finals were held tonight in Arlington. The host Tigers will send 10 athletes to State. The Cordova Wolves will be well-represented with seven wrestlers going to Franklin.

Millington Head Coach William Richardson will have two representatives with Deadrick Payton and Charles Rockiemore. And first year program Munford will be represented by Tyler Brown.

The State Tournament is scheduled to be held Feb. 12-14 at the Williamson Co. Expo Center. Below is the list of champions and other top three finishers for each weight class heading to State.
