CPD seeks lottery thief

At around 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 5, a white male, approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall with brown hair and a grey hoodie, was in a Collierville business posing as a G-Tech employee.

G-Tech is a company that works on lottery ticket vending machines. The suspect appeared to be working on the machine

for a routine service inspection. The suspect then asked for tickets to replenish the machine. He was given three new rolls of tickets with ticket values of $5, $10 and $20 and left the business without the manager’s knowledge.

The total value of the lottery tickets taken was $900. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this individual is asked to call Collierville Crime Stoppers at 901-457-CASH (2274) or the Collierville Police Criminal Investigation Division at 457-2520.
