The Collierville Dragons experienced their fair share of highs and lows Saturday at home in a doubleheader against Germantown and Houston. The afternoon began with a tough 8-1 loss to the Houston Mustangs. The Dragons’ lone run came in the first inning. Houston had four runs in the first inning, one in the second inning and three more in fourth. Dragon pitcher Alex Johnson suffered his first loss of the season. The left handed senior has four wins so far this year. The afternoon improved for the Dragons when they knocked off Germantown 6-3 and improved to 13-9 on the season. Senior pitcher Alex Hicks got his second win on the season. Collierville got an early run in the game but was unable to score again until the fifth inning, when they broke the game open with four runs.
