Lady Dragons go 2-2 in tourney
The Collierville Lady Dragons recently went 2-2 in the annual Dragon Fire Invitational at Collierville High School. They started the tournament hot Thursday, beating Byhalia 53-49 thanks largely to Kara Harbin and Jessica Brown, who combined for 42 points. However, the Lady Dragons fell 51-37 Friday to Marion. ay’s game, defeating Bartlett 66-54 and setting up the Lady Dragons for a Monday game against 8-5 Arlington. Collierville came out hot in the game and led 17-14 at the half. However, the Lady Tigers went on a 14-8 run to open the second half and never looked back. The Lady Dragons are now 5-8 on the season. White Station was the eventual winner of the tournament.
