Historic town license plates available – Collierville Independent

Main Street Collierville recently announced that Historic Collierville specialty license plates are now available.

The Historic Collierville license plate will help Main Street Collierville’s mission of preserving, promoting and protecting the Historic District of Down town Collierville. In order to move forward with the project, Main Street Collierville needs to pre-sell 1,000 Historic Collierville license plates.

For a $35 investment, residents can reserve a plate and support these organizations: 50 percent will go to Main Street Collierville, 40 percent goes to the State of Tennessee Arts Commission and 10 percent to the Highway Fund.

Once 1,000 plates have been sold and approved by the Tennessee Department of Revenue, residents will be notified to pick up their plate at the Shelby County Clerk’s office. To sign up, go to MainStreetCollierville.org and scroll down to the picture of the “Historic Collierville” license plate.
