Hatmaker, the daughter of Bob and Gina Hatmaker, finished her soccer career at Briarcrest with 55 career goals including 19 her senior season making her one of the most prolific scorers in Lady Saints history.

Her most memorable goal was her last one: a header off a corner kick in the state championship game against Baylor.

That goal turned out to be the winner giving Briarcrest its first state championship in soccer. She earned All-State, All-Region and All-Metro honors and was named a Finalist for the Best of the Preps Player of the Year.

A National Merit Finalist, Hatmaker scored a 35 on her ACT and was ranked fourth in her graduating class with a 5.33 grade-point average.

She will be attending Southern Methodist University (SMU) in the fall where she will be one of approximately 100 incoming freshmen in the business honors program.

She was chosen from hundreds of outstanding applicants from the U.S. and other countries.

Hatmaker plans on majoring in both Business and Finance.
