Germantown residents Joseph G. Ozment, Tyler M. Dean, Anna G. Rodell, Margaret A. Myers and Zain M. Virk were named to the Rhodes College Honor Roll for the 2016 spring semester. To qualify for the honor roll, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 credit hours of academic work and must achieve a semester grade-point average of 3.85 or better.

Collierville residents Nicholas K. Pietrangelo, Rahul Peravali, Caldwell E. Huffman and Samhitha M. Curpad were named to the Rhodes College Honor Roll for the 2016 spring semester.

Dr. Dennis M. Wiseman, provost of Wofford College, has announced Dean’s List students for the Spring 2016 Semester, including James Whipple Heard of Germantown.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester grade-point average of 3.6 or higher.

Michael Morales of Germantown is among Southeast Missouri State University’s spring 2016 graduates.
Morales graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a major in agribusiness: agriculture industry option.
Several local residents have been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester.
• Alexander E. Creson of Cordova, who is majoring in General Engineering
• Sarah Kaitlyn Timmins of Cordova, who is majoring in Chemical Engineering
• Brian A. Witt of Germantown, who is majoring in Computer Science
• Hannah L. Bassett of Collierville, who is majoring in General Engineering
• Megan J. Mars of Collierville, who is majoring in Food Science
• Tyler Baldwin Myers of Collierville, who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Local residents have been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2016 semester.
• Nathan R. Hale of Collierville, whose major is Financial Management
• Matthew H. Richardson of Collierville, whose major is Marketing
To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

The following students earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2016 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Local students at the University of Kansas earned honor roll distinction for the spring 2016 semester.
• Olivia Roberts, Collierville, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences
• Mallory McKee, Germantown, School of Education

Natalie Miller of Collierville excelled during the Spring 2016 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List.

Cordova residents Gizman Abdijabar, Petra Dhinakaran and Zoe I. Gresham were named to the Rhodes College Dean’s List for the 2016 spring semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 credit hours of academic work and must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.70 or better.
