At around 1 p.m. on Jan. 13, the Collierville Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Brackenshire Lane on a robbery attempt call.
On the scene, it was learned that the victim was in the garage unloading items from her car when she was approached by an African-American male in his mid-twenties, who forced the victim into her residence from the garage at gunpoint.
Once inside, the suspect demanded money. The victim advised the suspect that her money was in her car, at which point the suspect left the residence.
There were no injuries on the scene, and at this point nothing has been found to be missing. There is potential that the victim was followed home by what was described as a white pickup truck of unknown make.
