Germantown’s perfect season came to an end Saturday as the Red Devils fell to Jonesboro, Ga. 75-63 in the Memphis vs. Atlanta Roundball Classic at Christian Brothers. The overtime loss came one day after Germantown beat rival Collierville 60-52 on the road. Jonathan Bins paced the Red Devils with 18 points in that game, with Darrell Brown adding 12 points. Germantown jumped on Collierville early with a 17-8 run. The Dragons cut the lead to 4 points by halftime. Both teams traded baskets in the third quarter with Germantown holding on for the win. Collierville’s Seena Ghelichkhani led all scorers with 21 points. Germantown is now 9-1 on the season heading into Friday’s home game against Ridgeway. Collierville is 1-6 and scheduled to play Restoration Academy of Fairfield, Ala. this Thursday in the More Than Hoops Tournament.
