Two Houston High teachers selected for special STEM training

The Tennessee STEM Innovation Network recently announced that Houston High School Principal Kyle Cherry and STEM Lead Teacher Christa Phillips were selected to serve on the 2015-16 STEM Innovative Leaders Institute cohort.

The Innovative Leaders Institute is a year long training and mentoring experience for educators led by some of the top STEM and innovative school leaders in our state.

The Innovative Leaders Institute provides participants opportunities to network with other building-level leaders from across Tennessee, visit innovative schools to examine different models of STEM integration, and share best practices and resources.

Cherry and Phillips had stiff competition to overcome in order to be selected for the cohort.
