After being closed for slightly more than a week, the W.C. Johnson Spray Park re-opened on Monday to an excited contingent of local children and parents.

The park was temporarily closed so that a fence could be erected around it. Beginning today, Collierville residents will need a Spray Park Pass and non-residents will be required to show a stamped receipt. Passes can be obtained at the Collierville Parks Administration Office, 440 West Powell Road, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For Collierville residents, a season pass is free by showing proof of residency (current utility bill or a driver’s license). For non-Collierville residents, a fee of $10 per person must be paid. The fee includes one visit to the spray park. However, multiple days can be purchased at one time. A stamped receipt will be required to show the attendant at the spray park entrance.

For more information, call Parks Administration at 457-2770.
